Visa information
Participants are responsible for checking whether they need an entry visa to travel to Italy. The official Visa for Italy portal of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation provides a guided procedure to verify visa requirements based on nationality, country of residence, reason for visit, and length of stay. If a visa is required, the portal provides the relevant information and forms needed to submit the application.
Conference participants are strongly encouraged to check visa requirements well in advance of the conference. To avoid delays, participants who need a visa should start the application process as early as possible.
For short stays, the Schengen visa covers stays of up to 90 days within any 180 days. Participants who need a visa should contact the Italian Embassy or Consulate responsible for their place of residence well in advance of their trip.
Verify via official portal of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
