This year, IEEE ISMAR has extended the traditional Paper Presentation Videos with Teaser Videos. Detailed requirements for both types are provided below.
Paper Presentation Videos (Due 4 September 2026)
- Who: Authors with accepted papers (conference and TVCG) as well as TVCG and CG&A invited papers
- Why: To provide a backup plan should an author not be available to present. And more importantly, to facilitate free world-wide access to ISMAR content after the conference ends.
- Type: Mandatory
- Deadline: 4 September 2026 AoE
- What it is: A complete video recording of your paper presentation, as if you present on stage.
- Usage: Played in case of author absence, archival and publication in ISMAR media services.
- Where: For papers specify URL in PCS using the dedicated field. For invited talks, email URL to program2026@ieeeismar.net.
- Duration: 12 minutes (regular presentation time)
- Template: Presentation template.pptx
- Resolution and format: 1080p HD, 1920 × 1080 progressive, 16:9 aspect ratio, MP4 format with H.264 compression.
- File size: Maximum 250 MB.
- Optional content: Photos or videos of the authors may be included, but are not mandatory.
- Compliance: All content used must be royalty-free and adhere to ISMAR26 Code of Conduct.
- Closed captions: Authors are encouraged to prepare a timestamped closed-caption file in VTT format.

- Storage: Upload the files to a cloud drive, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or Mega, with public link access. Submit the links via PCS. Authors of non-PCS submissions are asked to contact the organizers or chairs of their track regarding video sharing. NOTE: Do not use YouTube.
Teaser Videos - Due 4 September 2026
- Who: Authors with accepted papers (conference, TVCG), poster, demo, tutorials, doctoral consortium, workshops (excluded workshop papers)
- Why: To promote ISMAR research (e.g., on social media and locally @ ISMAR) both prior and during the week of ISMAR.
- Type: Optional but recommended
- Deadline: 4 September 2026 AoE.
- What it is: Creatively highlight of your contribution in a way that captures attention. Prioritize visual impact and a clear takeaway message over technical completeness. Video may work also when played without audio.
- Usage: Social media publishing and display on monitors across the conference venue.
- Where: For submissions using PCS using the dedicated field. For invited talks, email URL to program2026@ieeeismar.net. All other teaser video URL should follow instructions provided by their respective chair.
- Duration: Up to 60 seconds.
- Template: Teaser template.pptx
- File size: Maximum 50 MB.
- Format: Use only one of the following formats: AVI, MP4, MPEG, MPG, or MOV.
- Resolution: 1080p HD, 1920 × 1080 progressive, 16:9 aspect ratio, MP4 format with H.264 compression.
- Structure: The video must include a cover at the beginning with the title, authors, and affiliations, and credits at the end using the provided template.
- Compliance: All content used must be royalty-free and adhere to ISMAR26 Code of Conduct.
- Storage: Upload the files to a cloud drive, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or Mega, with public link access. Submit the links via PCS. Authors of non-PCS submissions are asked to contact the organizers or chairs of their track regarding video sharing. NOTE: Do not use YouTube.
